Mudakathan Keerai Idly
|Ingredients:
Mudakathan leaves A hand full
Boiled rice 1 and1/2cups
Urad dhal 1tbsp
Salt
Cooking Method:
Soak rice and urad dhal together in water for 1 hour
Wash the mudakathan leaves well
Grind rice urad dhal and leaves together
Add salt to the batter and keep it aside for 12 hours
After 12 hours make idly and serve hot with onion chutney
Mudakathan keerai fights arthritis
Washing method for all kinds of keerai:
Take water in a bowl and add 2 tbsp salt and 1 tsp turmeric powder
Soak the leaves in that water for 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove the leaves and wash well in plain water
Use the leaves immediately
