RAVA IDLY
|INGREDIENTS:
Roasted rava 1 cup
Sour curd 3 tbsp
Green chilies 3
Curry leaves and coriander leaves A few
Broken cashews 1 tbsp
Bengal gram 2 tsp
Urad dhal 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Salt
PREPARATION METHOD:
Dry grind chilies, curry leaves and coriander leaves together.
Add 2 tbsp oil to a hot pan and add mustard seeds.
Add bengal gram and urad dhal and cashews.
Fry till golden brown and add ground mixture to the pan and fry for a minute.
Switch off the stove and add sour curds, salt, roasted rava and sufficient water to make idlis.
Steam cook idlis immediately and serve hot with coconut chutney.
PS: Water and sour curds should be added only at the time of preparation.
