Raw Mango Thuvaiyal:
Ingredients:
Grated sour raw mango 1/4 cup
Bengal gram 2 tsp
Urad dhal 2 tsp
Fenu greek 1 tsp
Long red chilly 1
Long green chillies 2
Curry leaves A few
Salt
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Preparation Method:
Add 3 tsp oil in a pan.
Add bengal gram, urad dhal and fenu greek.
Fry till bengal gram turns golden.
Now add both types of chillies and curry leaves.
Fry for few seconds and transfer it to the mixie jar.
Switch off the stove and add mango and salt to the pan.
Fry it for a minute and let it cool.
Add the mango to the mixie and grind coarsely.
Add little water and grind.
Season it with mustard seeds and asafoetida.
This thuvaiyal goes well with hot rice and gingelly oil.
