Curry leaves chutney
Ingredients:
Tender curry leaves 1/2 cup
Grated coconut 2 tbsp
Urad dhal 2 tsp
Bengal gram 2 tsp
Long red chilly 1
Tamarind Paste 1 tsp
Jaggery 1 tsp
Salt
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida A pinch
Preparation Method:
Add 1 tsp oil to a hot pan and add mustard seeds.
When it is done add asafoetida.
Transfer this to a bowl.
Now add urad dhal, bengal gram and red chilly.
Fry till bengal gram turns golden.
Transfer it to the mixie.
Now add coconut and curry leaves to the pan.
Fry it in low heat till the moisture is absorbed.
Add this to the mixie.
Grind it along with salt, jaggery and tamarind paste.
Grind it coarsely with very little water.
Transfer it to the bowl and mix well.
