Ladies Finger more kulambu (Butter milk gravy)

Ladies finger  more kulambu.                                                                                         Ladies finger is a wonderful vegetable which helps us in many ways. Its high fiber content controls obesity and cholesterol. It has vitamin K benefits too. It protects us from constipation,diabetes, sun stroke and asthma.

Ingredients:
Ladies finger  10  to 12
Sour thick curds 1/2 cup 
Coconut grated  1 tbsp
Roasted gram  1/2 tbsp
Red chilly  2 or 3
Cumin seeds 1 and 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves and coriander leaves  A few
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
salt
For seasoning:
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida 2 pinches
Preparation Method:
Grind coconut, roasted gram, red chillies, cumind seeds and curry leaves together.
Add oil in hot tawa and add mustard seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder.
Add cut ladies fingure (1 inch size) and fry.
Sprinkle little water after a few minutes and close the tawa with a lid.                       Cook in a low heat till ladies finger is soft.
Add the ground paste, water and salt.
Bring it to boil and switch off stove.
Remove the tawa from the stove and add whipped sour curds and mix well.
Garnish with cut curry leaves.
Serve Ladies finger more kulambu and white rice.
