RAVA KESARI
|INGREDIENTS:
Roasted rava 1 cup Milk 2 and1/2 cups Sugar 1 and 3/4 to 2 cups (As per requirement) Broken cashews 2 tbsp Raisins 1 tbsp Saffron 2 pinches Food colour 2 pinches (Or as per requirement) Ghee 1/2 cup PREPARATION METHOD: Add hot milk to a pan and bring it to boil. Now add roasted rava evenly and keep stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to minimum and close the pan with a lid. Let it cook for a few minutes. Add the food colour to a spoon of hot water and add it to the kesari. Remove the pan from heat and add sugar and mix well. Now keep the pan on the stove and stir constantly till it thickens. Add the ghee and mix well until the kesari absorbs the ghee. Add saffron and mix well and switch off the stove. Transfer the kesari to a serving bowl. Garnish it with cashews and raisins roasted in ghee.
