Mango Rice
Ingredients:
Rice 1/2 cup
Grated sour green mango 1/4 cup
Green chillies 4 to 5
Grated coconut 3 tbsp
Ginger 1/2 inch
Coriander leaves and curry leaves A few
Salt
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Urad dhal 1 tsp
Preparation method:
Cook rice till each grain is separate and soft.
Allow it to cool.
Dry grind green chillies, Ginger,coriander leaves and curry leaves together.
Add 6 to 7 tsp of oil in a hot pan. Add mustard seeds and then urad dhal.
Fry till urad dhal turns golden.
Add grated mango, dry ground paste, coconut and salt and mix for few minutes.
Now add the rice and mix well in medium flame for a few minutes.
Serve hot.
