Tuar Dhal Upma
Ingredients:
Boiled rice 1 cup
Tuar dhal 1/2 cup
Salt
Long green chillies 6 or 7
Coriander leaves and curry leaves Few
Grated coconut 1/3 cup
Lemon big 1
For Seasoning:
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Urad dhal 2 tsp
Preparation Method:
Soak rice and tuar dhal in water together for 1 hour.
Grind it coarsely and mix salt with it and keep it aside for 12 hours.
Now make idlis and let it cool.
Grind green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves with little salt.
The salt is only for the ground items.
Cut idlis in to tiny pieces.
Add 5 tbsp of oil in hot pan and add mustard seeds and urad dhal.
Add chopped onions and fry till it becomes soft.
Add the ground paste and stir for a minute.
Add the idly pieces and mix it well in medium heat.
Add grated coconut and mix well.
Add lime juice and mix well and remove from heat.
Serve hot with cut onions.
