Urad dhal Chutney
|Ingredients:
Urad dhal 2 tbsp
Bengal gram 2 tbsp
Coconut grated 4 tbsp
coriander seeds 1 tsp
Long Red Chillies 2 (as per requirement)
Curry leaves few
Tamarind 1 inch
Jaggery 2 tsp (optional)
Salt
Seasoning:
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1 pinch
Preparation Method:
Add 2 tsp of oil to a hot pan.
Add bengal gram,urad dhal,coriander seeds,red chillies and fry till bengal gram turns golden.
Add tamarind and curry leaves and fry in low flam till leaves become crispy and let it cool.
Now grind them coarsely along with salt and jaggery with little water. Season it with spluttered musrard seeds and asafoetida.
