Pesarattu
Ingredients:
Green gram 1 cup
Raw Rice 1 cup
Onion 1 No (for batter)
Green chillies Medium size 3 Nos
Ginger 1 inch size
salt to taste
To spread:
Onions ( Large ) 3 Nos, chopped fine
Cooking Method:
Soak green gram 12 hours before grinding. Soak raw rice 1 hour before grinding.
Grind all ingredients into a smooth batter.
Use this batter immediately to make yummy dosas.
Spread one scoop on the hot griddle/tawa to make dosa, spread the oil around the dosa and sprinkle finely chopped onions immediately.
Serve hot once it is cooked along with coconut ginger chutney.
Variations:
1. Green chillies, Ginger finely chopped can be mixed with onions to sprinkle on dosa.
2. Upma can also be spread on the dosa and served along .
