CAULIFLOWER AND PEAS CURRY

INGREDIENTS:

Cut Cauliflower 2  cups  (cut in to small pieces lengthwise)

Fresh peas  1/2  cup

Tomato  1 (Medium size)

Small Onion  4 or 5

Garlic  2 to 3  flakes  (Cut lengthwise)

Chilly powder  1/2  tsp

Dhania powder  1/4  tsp

Salt

Curry leaves  A few

Mustard seeds  1/2  tsp

PREPARATION METHOD:

Cut tomato into big pieces and add it to the mixie jar.

Add garlic flakes along with it and grind smoothly.

No water required.

Add 2  tbsp oil to a hot pan and add mustard seeds.

Add peas and curry leaves and fry in high heat for a minute.

Add cauliflower and fry in high heat for two minutes.

Reduce the heat to minimum and close the pan with a lid.

Turn the cauliflower in between gently.

Sprinkle little water if required.

Cook till the vegetables become soft.

Add the tomato paste, dhania powder chilly powder and salt.

Dry grind the onion coarsely and add it to the pan.

Mix well and cook in low heat till the moisture is absorbed.

Serve hot with white rice and a drop of ghee.

PS: If the peas is from freezer, add the cauliflower first and fry in high heat for a minute.

Then add peas.
