SMALL POTATO CURRY
|INGREDIENTS:
Small potatoes 250 gms
Roasted gram 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds 1 and 1/2 tsp
Garlic flakes 5 to 6
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Long red chillies 2
Salt
PREPARATION METHOD:
Pressure cook potatoes with 1/2 tsp salt crystals, turmeric powder and little water.
Drain the water and peal the skin.
Powder the roasted gram, chillies and coriander seeds together in the mixie.
Add 2 tbsp oil to a hot pan and add lengthwise cut garlic.
Fry for few seconds and add potatoes.
Fry in high heat for a minute or two.
Add sufficient salt and ground powder.
Reduce the heat and mix well gently.
Serve hot with hot white rice and a spoon of ghee.
PS: We add salt while pressure cooking the potatoes.
So while adding the second time, add accordingly.
