POTATO AND PEAS CURRY

INGREDIENTS:

Potatoes  2  (Medium sized)

Green peas  1/4 cup to 1/2 cup

Green chillies  2 to 3

Garlic flakes  4

Big onion  1

Tomato  1

Coriander seeds  2  tsp

Curry leaves  A few

Salt

Mustard seeds  1/2  tsp

PREPARATION METHOD:

Dry roast coriander seeds and when it is cool powder it.

Add 3 tbsp oil to a hot pan and add mustard seeds.

Add cut onions and cut garlic flakes and fry in high heat for two minutes.

Add cut potatoes and fry for a minute.

Add peas and fry in high heat for a minute.

Add cut chillies, curry leaves and cut tomato.

Fry in high heat for two minutes and reduce the heat to minimum.

Add salt and sufficient water and close the pan with a lid.

Let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

Open the lid and turn the vegetables gently.

When the vegetables are cooked well add dhania powder ( coriander seeds powder).

Mix well and serve hot with white rice.
