CHOWCHOW CURRY (CHAYOTE)

CHOWCHOW CURRY:

It is a simple dish but gives more energy.

It is easy to make.

INGREDIENTS:

Chowchow  1

Pepper powder   3/4  tsp

Salt

PREPARATION METHOD:

Peel the outer skin, remove the inner white portion and cut in to 1/2 inch pieces.

Pressure cook it.

Add 2 tsp oil to a hot pan.

When the oil is hot add pepper powder.

Add the cooked chowchow  pieces and mix gently for a minute.

When the moisture is absorbed switch off the heat.

Serve hot with white rice.
