Urad dhal vadai
Ingredients:
Urad dhal 1 cup
Tuar dhal 1 tbsp
Raw rice 1 tbsp
Pepper 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Salt 
Finely chopped Ginger 1 inch
Finely cut curry leaves  A few
Preparation Method:
Soak urad dhal, tuar dhal and raw rice together in water.
After 1/2 hour drain the water well and grind coarsely.
While grinding sprinkle very little water.
The batter should be thick to make vadas.
Add cumin seeds and pepper and let it grind for 1/2 minute.
Remove the batter and add salt,ginger and curry leaves.
Mix well in same direction.
Take lemon sized batter and flatten it to a round shape.
Make a hole in the centre  and add it to the hot oil.
Add 4 to 5 vadas quickly to the oil.
Fry it till golden brown and remove vadas from oil.
Serve hot with coconut chutney and coriander chutney.  
If the batter is very thick, sprinkle little water.
