Ingredients:
Pasiparuppu 1/2 cup
Bengal gram 1/4 cup
Grated coconut 1/4 cup
Cashews 7 or 8 (Broken)
Cardamom 4
Sugar 1/2 cup heaped
Salt 1 tsp
Ghee 3 tsp
Preparation Method:
Soak pasiparuppu and bengal gram together in water for an hour.
Grind it coarsely with one or two sprinkles of water (Not much water required).
Add salt while grinding.
Make idlis and let it cool.
Cut idlis into tiny pieces.
Heat a tawa and add 3 tsp ghee and 3 tsp oil.
Add broken cashews and fry till golden.
Add idly pieces and mix well.
Add sugar and coconut and mix well in low heat for 6 to 7 minutes.
Add powdered cardamom seeds and mix well and remove from heat.
Serve hot.
