CAPSICUM MANGO SALAD
|CAPSICUM MANGO SALAD:
Cut pieces of all colour capsicum 1/2 cup (Red, yellow and green together)
Finely chopped cauliflower 1/4 cup
Finely chopped sour mango 2 tbsp
Green chillies 3 (Cut length wise and remove the seeds)
Salt
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Cut coriander leaves 1 tbsp
PREPARATION METHOD:
Heat a cup of water and when it is boiling add salt and chopped cauliflower.
Switch off the stove and close the cup with a lid.
After few minutes remove cauliflower from the water with a spoon.
Worms or insects ( if any) will be at the bottom.
Wash the cauliflower pieces well and drain it.
Add capsicum pieces, cauliflower and mango pieces to a bowl.
Add salt and season it with mustard seeds and green chillies.
Add cut coriander leaves and mix well.
Prepare the salad 3 to 4 hours before serving.
Keep mixing often, so that all the vegetables will absorb salt and spice well.
Serve with curd rice.
