Masal Vadai (Bengal gram vadai)

Masal vadai
Ingredients:
Bengal gram 1 cup
Red chillies 3 or 4
Ginger 1 inch
Green chillies 2
Onion (big in size) 1
Curry leaves and coriander leaves  A few
Finely cut coconut  2 tbsp
Salt
Preparation Method:
Soak bengal gram in water for an hour.
Cut ginger into fine pieces.
Grind bengal gram in mixie coarsely with two sprinkles of water.
Dry grind red chillies, green chillies and curry leaves.
Cut coriander leaves and add it to the batter.
Add coconut pieces and dry ground things to the batter.
Add finely chopped onions ginger and salt to the batter.
Mix well and make lemon sized balls.
Heat oil in the pan, flatten the balls. 
Fry the flattened balls in the oil till golden.
Serve hot with curry leaves chutney or coconut chutney.
While grinding bengal gram only sprinkles of water is required.
